We’re used to blowing things up on set, but Carmela has just swapped pyrotechnics for pedals, taking on the Big Moose 24-Hour Project 1 million 2.0 with her ULTRA Maverick group! 🚴♀️💥
Pedal Power, Real SFX Style
The group committed to two bikes for the full 24 hours, and the Real SFX extended family stepped in to keep the wheels spinning. Danny, Harry, Rosie, Victoria, Marc from Nando’s, Owen from Sonder, and Lucy from Bright Branch all joined the rotation – proving that whether it’s on set or on stationary bikes, teamwork makes everything possible.
From dawn to dusk (and a little beyond), there were laughs, wobbles, lots of banter and plenty of dancing as everyone took their shifts! Every pedal counted towards supporting mental health and wellbeing across the UK, and the dedication of the crew was nothing short of inspiring.
Shout-Outs and Thanks
A huge thank you to everyone who cycled, donated, or cheered us on from afar. If you fancy still being part of the adventure, it’s not too late to donate: Big Moose 24-Hour Cycle Challenge. Every contribution helps support mental health initiatives across the country.
