The much-anticipated re-opening of Digbeth Loc. Studios has officially arrived, marking an exciting new chapter for Birmingham’s thriving Film & TV community. The launch event was a true celebration of collaboration, creativity, and the incredible talent that continues to grow in the region.

We loved working with the brilliant Digbeth team – Natasha Phillips, Annabelle Bevan, Mazzy Snape, and of course Steven – and a huge well done and thank you for all your hard work behind the scenes. The event was electric, and it was fantastic to connect with so many new and familiar faces, including Graham Webb, as well as inspiring organisations such as Kudos Knight, RTS Midlands and Creative Central, plus many more. A big thank you also to all the event sponsors helping to shape Birmingham’s creative future.
Growing Local Talent
We’re very proud to have been part of Birmingham’s community for the past two years. During that time, we’ve been building strong connections with training providers and supporting the next generation of SFX talent.
We’re also thrilled to welcome have Birmingham University students Harry Hargreaves and Olivia Davies onboard as part of ongoing growth strategy. Their arrival strengthens our mission to nurture local talent and provide real, hands-on experience in Special Effects.
Space Station Fun
As part of the launch, we had a blast showcasing our replica International Space Station. With Danny Hargreaves at the helm, expertly controlling sparks and smoke 🚀, it was a massive hit with guests, and was a huge talking point. The installation offered just a little glimpse into the creativity and innovation these world-class facilities are designed to inspire.
